Gun Violence

Gun violence to me is so unnecessary. It's dangerous--it's effecting more than just the people in it. The people that the gangbangers are aiming at aren't always the ones that get hit:  anybody in the community is in danger.

What happened to the days when people would fist fight things out? I’m not saying that that makes it any better...but I'd rather have that then someone getting killed. No one can stop people from getting into it. Arguments come up and conflicts happen, but it shouldn't get to the point where people should want to take another person life.

One thing that came to my mind as I talk about this is the shooting that happened in Uptown Tuesday November 22nd, and one of them was an Uplift student. It kind of worries me because I work there and the student was around my age. This have you thinking who is really safe? Since I first started this post more shootings have happened in Uptown and I'm just curious when will things better...
